Tradewinds Building Company, Inc. is owned and operated by Ted and Debbie Martinez, of Eagle, Idaho. They have been involved in the building industry since l975. Together they share the love of this community and the desire to help families to obtain affordable housing.
Ted has served as president of the Building Contractors Association of Southwestern Idaho. He was awarded Builder of the Year, Spike of the Year, and is a life director of that association. He also served as president of the Idaho Building Contractors Association and received the Idaho State Builder of the Year Award in 1998.
Tradewinds Building Company has been involved in numerous Parade of Homes over the years. They have received many awards for their interior and exterior design as well as the People’s Choice Award.
Their primary focus has been on building custom residential homes throughout the valley. They have also been involved in commercial projects as well as various development projects.
Quality and customer satisfaction are the trademarks of a home built by Ted & Debbie Martinez and their construction family. Their construction family consists of Rick Morrow, project superintendant, Steve Martinez, estimator, and Linda Newell, bookkeeper and office manager. These three individuals are the very back bone of their organization. They are well trained and knowledgeable and bring many years of experience to this company.

Also recognized by Tradewinds is the excellent sub-contractors who are craftsmen in their own right. Many of these contractors have been part of the Tradewinds family for many years. They believe that a home is only as good as the materials you use and the craftsmanship of those who do the work.
Their motto of "First We Listen" has proved to be their greatest asset. First they listen to the needs of their clients and then they join together with their knowledge and expertise to provide a home specifically designed to the homeowners.
